Job Description

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data to determine proper taxable income for U.S. and state income tax purposes and in documenting tax positions
  • Prepare / Review company federal corporate and partnership income tax returns and state returns, including complicated combined and unitary returns
  • Mentor and train tax department personnel on tax compliance and tax accounting matters
  • Organize and prioritize a variety of project and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • May assist with global transfer pricing processes, documentation, and monitoring
  • Maintain knowledge and proficiency in current U.S. and state income tax laws and regulations;
  • May assist in technical worksheet modeling in support of tax planning
  • Assist in gathering information, researching tax issues, and drafting formal responses in federal, state and international audits
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of recent tax experience in public accounting and/or in related industry
  • Must have a Bachelor's or Masters's degree in accounting.
  • CPA or EA certification is a plus.
