GPS Cloud Strategy Procurement Analyst
Acts as a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Government and Public Services Practice (GPS) Contracts to drive business strategy and results. Advises client delivery teams on cloud purchasing strategy, available agreements and solutions, and translates client needs to requirements.Executes various activities related to procurement of Cloud environments as needed for GPS practice. Full lifecycle implementation of Cloud procurement solutions. Performs file documentation activities and determines the most appropriate method of procurement. Monitors file compliance with all applicable laws, standards and regulations. Experience with enterprise agreements and purchasing cloud technology. Ability to analyze “bulk” invoices for compliant client billing.
Assists in performing detailed analyses on proposed product prices to identify and eliminate prices that are not necessary or are unreasonably high. Participates in negotiations with the Suppliers to determine final contract prices and terms.
Develops proposal solicitation documents and coordinates with suppliers. Assists in preparing compliance-related documentation such as reports of findings, non-compliance letters, and memoranda.
Assists in development of processes to improve supplier performance and supports the development and implementation of strategic solutions.
Experience architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing Cloud to provide solutions.
Assist with the design and build out cloud service provider environments.
Assist with developing and implementing an overarching cloud strategy plan.
Assists in managing supplier relationships to improve internal client satisfaction.
Use proven sourcing strategies to support business clients’ requirements for software, hardware and other commodities as needed.
Identifies and resolves contractual issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Performs other job-related duties as required.
Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
Demonstratedexperience in negotiating and leveraging value added reseller agreements
Demonstratedproficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strongconsultative and communication skills
Abilityto operate in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability work effectively workcollaboratively with teams
Relevant Technical and/or Cloud Certifications
