Title: Training Operations Manager at NASA
The Mission Systems Operations Contract (MSOC) at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) is seeking a motivated person to join the Maintenance and Operations team as a section manager leading the Reconfiguration and Training Operations section. This section supports both the Mission Control Center (MCC) and Mission Training Center (MTC). The section generates data products used to initialize the training simulators; develops products for the MCC ground software to interface with the ISS onboard software; and initializes and operates the simulators in JSC B5. The manager will ensure on-time delivery of MCC Recon Products to support the real-time International Space Status (ISS) mission activities and coordination of changes to the MCC to support future mission activities. The manager will oversee development of new initial simulator training loads and special training loads for directed testing and simulation objectives. This includes testing of new simulator software loads and incorporation of new ISS flight software products to support simulator upgrades and ability to support future ISS training needs. The manager will ensure that trained and qualified operations personnel are ready and available to support all simulation activities, consisting of 24x5 operations Monday-Friday, and at other times as needed. The manager will ensure that operations personnel respond to simulator facility issues and concerns as needed.
The position’s responsibilities include: leading approximately 30 employees from multiple companies within the section, coordinating resource prioritization and allocation within the section, and ensuring that the team’s responsibilities are completed within budget and schedule. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks associated with the KBR personnel such as performance reviews, merit planning, career development, technical and leadership training, disciplinary actions, etc., and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Holds a bachelor's of science degree from an accredited college and normally possesses a minimum of 5 years of professional experience and specialized training related to human space flight operations, control center and training operations, and/or ground or space network operations.

Title: Professional Engineer - Land Development
The Project Engineer role is responsible for assisting Project Managers and Project Designers in the preparation and coordination of engineering design items. The primary role of the Project Engineer is in the completion of engineering designs and construction plans. This role will focus primarily on Land Development Projects.
Preparation of project permitting applications and reports
Civil engineering design
Administration of Construction Phase Services
Represent client in meetings with Review staff to discuss project specifics and clear permitting comments
Attend industry events and become involved in the community
Education / Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
6+ years of experience in Land Development
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
